Laurie Raphaël
Modern Québec · quebec-city · Michelin One Star · Chef Raphaël Vézina
A pillar of Québec City's fine dining scene for over thirty years, Laurie Raphaël occupies a heritage building in the Old Port district near the Vieux-Québec waterfront. Originally opened by Daniel Vézina — one of the architects of modern Québec cuisine — the kitchen is now led by his son Raphaël Vézina, who has carried the restaurant to its first Michelin star. The cooking is rooted in Québec terroir: local seafood, provincial cheese, wild herbs, and ingredients from the St. Lawrence valley, expressed with a contemporary hand and deep respect for the province's culinary identity.
