One-Michelin-star Korean handroll tasting restaurant in Hell's Kitchen by Chef Sungchul Shim (also behind Kochi). Reimagines Korean handrolls as tasting menu with premium ingredients and Korean flavors. ~12 courses: hansang (amuse-bouche), seasonally inspired handrolls, two-part dessert. Counter seats flanking open kitchen on all sides plus small dining room. Signature handrolls: salmon & caviar, spicy tuna with crispy potato, mackerel, A5 wagyu with bulgogi flavors, pork belly with ssamjang. Courses include Korean noodle soup (guksu), choco pie dessert. Cannot accommodate vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free, rice-free, egg-free, or allergies to fish, allium, soy, sesame, or aversion to raw seafood. Reservations 30 days advance (midnight daily release via Resy/OpenTable). Monday-Thursday 5-9:30pm, Friday-Saturday 5-10pm, Sunday 5-9:30pm.
