Michelin star awarded annually since 2009, NYT Three Stars (2015). Opened 2003. Refined Spanish tapas with adventurous ingredients. Order 3-4 dishes per person. Signature dishes: razor clams a la plancha, skirt steak with romesco, scrambled eggs with uni, bone marrow, foie gras with cinco cebollas. All-Spanish wine list (~500 bottles), Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence. Intimate 42-seat space, often crowded, bar seating with kitchen views. Sister restaurant Bar Jamón (adjacent tapas bar, more casual $10-15 items). Difficult dinner reservations.
