Auberge Frankenbourg in La Vancelle is a family inn managed by brothers Sébastien (kitchen) and Guillaume (dining room) Buecher since their parents established it in 1985. The Michelin star — held for over a decade — reflects Sébastien's cosmopolitan approach to Alsatian terroir: weekly-changing menus draw on family garden vegetables, local producers, and the Vosges forest ingredients, transformed with techniques and influences gathered during his travels.
