About Sébastien Buecher

The Frankenbourg is a family inn managed by two Buecher brothers: Sébastien in the kitchen and Guillaume on the dining room floor. Their parents established the inn in 1985; the brothers have evolved it into a Michelin-starred destination over a decade. Sébastien trained with top French chefs and has incorporated global influences (travel-inspired) into his cooking of Alsatian terroir produce: family garden vegetables, trusted local producers, and the forest ingredients of the Vosges. The menu changes weekly to reflect seasonal availability. Guillaume's front-of-house work — attentive, professional service in a minimalist wood-panelled room with exposed beams — is an integral part of the experience.
