Originating as a ryotei in Osaka 250 years ago, Mimiu is a historic Japanese restaurant chain that invented udon-suki, a registered trademark noodle hot pot simmered in a two-hour dashi broth. The brand formerly operated six branches in Tokyo before shuttering its capital locations in May 2020.
