Finnjävel Salonki

Modern Finnish · helsinki · Michelin One Star · Chef Tommi Tuominen

Finnjävel Salonki holds Helsinki's most culturally rooted Michelin star, reimagining the entire canon of Finnish comfort food through a fine-dining lens. Chef Tommi Tuominen takes the humble classics—reindeer, vendace, Baltic herring, Karelian pastry, mämmi—and elevates them into sophisticated multi-course tasting menus inside the historic Taidehalli arts centre. The name itself reclaims a former Swedish-language slur for unruly Finns into a banner of culinary pride.
