Casìn del Gamba is a former hunting lodge in the Lessinia foothills above Altissimo — territory that the Dal Lago family has farmed and hunted since 1976. Self-taught chef Antonio Dal Lago has held his Michelin star since 1992 through cooking rooted in the seasonal forest: wild mushrooms (porcini, morels, chanterelles), game meats, and the wild herbs of the Vicenza mountains. Front of house is managed by his daughter Daria and grandson Luca. A rare example of 30+ years of Michelin continuity in a genuinely remote mountain location.
