Hayakawa
Japanese Omakase · atlanta · Michelin One Star · Chef Atsushi Hayakawa
Chef Atsushi 'Art' Hayakawa brings the quietude and precision of his Hokkaido upbringing to an intimate eight-seat counter in West Midtown Atlanta. His 14-to-16-course kaiseki-inspired omakase—priced at $315 per person—follows the seasonal arc of the Japanese culinary calendar, drawing on fish flown weekly from Tokyo's Toyosu Market. Each course advances through warm small plates, sashimi, grilled seafood, and a progression of thick-cut Hokkaido-style nigiri brushed with housemade soy. Hayakawa has held its Michelin star consecutively since 2023.
