Born 1984 with Dutch-Indonesian (Moluccan) heritage. Father was a chef; grandmother from Moluccan Islands. 8 years working under Moshik Roth became defining relationship. Internship and later return to The Fat Duck during Olympics. Won Dutch Championship for Apprentice Chefs while at Ciel Bleu. Gault&Millau Talented Chef 2018. Best Chef Awards #64 globally (2020). Blends Southeast Asian influences into refined fine dining. Also runs Daalder Atelier and event company De Artiest.
