Born 1979 in Amstelveen. Trained at Hubertus & Berkhoff classical program plus ROC (4-year vocational). 7 years as Head Chef at Aan de Poel, helped earn 2 Michelin stars in 4 years. Opened MOS late 2015 with partner Henry Pattiwael van Westerloo (maître/sommelier). Earned Michelin star within 18 months. Patron Cuisinier member (Les Patrons Cuisiniers) since 2018. Known for French cuisine with Japanese and Spanish influences. Strong focus on umami flavors and technical precision.
