Vania Ghedini

Oro Restaurant sits within the legendary Hotel Cipriani on Giudecca island, with views across the Giudecca canal to Venice. Ghedini brings an Emilian pasta heritage into the Venetian lagoon context, collaborating with Bottura on a vision that celebrates Italian regional diversity.

Vania Ghedini, born 1987 in Ferrara, grew up in a family with a bakery tradition — grandparents made fresh bread, pasta, and tortellini. She joined Oro Restaurant at Hotel Cipriani in April 2024 as Head Chef, working within a creative framework developed with culinary director Massimo Bottura.
