About Silvio Giavedoni
Quadri has occupied the same building on Piazza San Marco since 1775. Under the Alajmo family's stewardship since 2011, Giavedoni has brought the Alajmo philosophy of precise, ingredient-led cooking to one of the most historically resonant dining rooms in Italy.
Silvio Giavedoni, born 1982 in Camino al Tagliamento (Udine), Friuli, grew up around his grandfather's bakery-pastry shop. He has worked with the Alajmo family for over 15 years, rising to Executive Chef at Ristorante Quadri on Piazza San Marco — one of Venice's most historic dining rooms.
