About Riccardo Gaspari
SanBrite ('healthy place' in Ladino dialect) opened on the Gaspari family's Alverà farm in 2016. Gaspari grows much of his own produce and works with local Ampezzano mountain ranchers and foragers, embodying a hyper-local Dolomite identity in every dish.
Riccardo Gaspari, born 1985 in Cortina d'Ampezzo, is a Dolomite-native chef who opened SanBrite on his family's historic farm with his wife Ludovica Rubbini. His cooking is intensely local — almost all produce grown or raised on or near the property. SanBrite holds 1 Michelin star and 1 Green Star.
