About Junichi Kato

Junichi Kato was born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1982 and trained at the Tsuji Culinary Institute in Lyon before working at established French restaurants in both France and Copenhagen. His cooking at L'ARGENT layers Scandinavian precision and innovation onto Japanese ingredients within a French classical framework — a cross-cultural synthesis that earned the restaurant one Michelin star.
