About Jiro Ono
Jiro Ono is a living legend of sushi who began his career as an apprentice at various sushi establishments before becoming a master chef. Born in 1925, he opened his own restaurant Sukiyabashi Jiro in 1965, which became the first sushi restaurant to receive 3 Michelin stars in 2007. His dedication to the craft was immortalized in the 2011 documentary 'Jiro Dreams of Sushi'.
