About Alexandre Mazzia

Alexandre Mazzia grew up in Congo before moving to France, where he transitioned from professional basketball to cooking. He trained across multiple continents before opening AM in Marseille in 2014. His cuisine is defined by a 'triangle of flavors' — spice, smoke, and chili — reflecting his African roots and global travels. He earned three Michelin stars in 2021 and entered the World's 50 Best Restaurants in 2022.
