About Lionello Cera

Cera's cuisine is inseparable from the Venetian lagoon. His father's fishing brought the ingredients; his mother's kitchen provided the foundation. The restaurant sits near the lagoon that has fed the family for generations, and Cera's menus reflect its tidal rhythms.

Lionello Cera, born 1966, grew up helping his parents Rino (fisherman) and Silvana (cook) in their simple bar and kitchen in Lughetto di Campagna Lupia. He transformed their humble family tavern into a two-Michelin-star destination celebrating Venetian lagoon and Adriatic seafood, honoring the terroir of his childhood.
