Juan David Zapata

Juan David Zapata was born and raised in Comuna 13, once regarded as one of Medellín's most dangerous neighbourhoods. He entered the bar industry through the Learning For Life social programme in 2011 and won Colombia's largest individual bartending contest in 2018. He co-founded Mamba Negra with Samuel Granados and also co-owns Juniper Drinks, Selva Gin, and Carbón Ron.
