About Josh Habiger

Bastion opened in Nashville's East Nashville neighborhood — a once-overlooked area that became the city's culinary frontier. Along with The Catbird Seat and Locust, it forms Nashville's holy trinity of Michelin-starred restaurants, all part of the Strategic Hospitality group that transformed the city's dining identity.

Josh Habiger is the chef behind Bastion in Nashville, which earned a Michelin star in November 2025 at the inaugural American South Michelin ceremony — one of three Nashville restaurants to be starred. Bastion is part of Strategic Hospitality and has been one of Nashville's most celebrated creative restaurants.
